During the past two and half years, collaborated with various marine automation, oil and gas operation and EPC companies for consultations, trouble shooting, installations, inspections, testing and commissioning of marine and process instrumentations, control systems as well as sub contracting of short term projects. Recently, contract ended with Transocean as a role of
E & I Inspector for drill ship Deep Water Frontier upgrading and commissioning project in Singapore shipyard. Developed and implemented client service program for this project. Successfully completed EMAS Offshore FPSO Lewek EMAS conversion and commissioning project. Major projects involved, proved accomplishment previously were Occidental of Oman Inc (OXY) inspection, start-up, testing & commissioning of Ariel flash gas compressors in Oman and BW Offshore FPSO BW Pioneer electrical, instrumentations, telecom, navigation and various control systems pre-com / commissioning project in Singapore.
Senior Electrician @ Acergy Singapore (Apr 2008 – Mar 2009)
Arranged, managed, led and supervised 15 electricians for installations, testing & commissioning of owner furnished equipment systems such as ROVs, Serimax Auto Weld, ISPS CCTVs, UPS and LAN computer system onboard vessel. One year with Acergy for Pipelay & Heavy lift vessel Sapura 3000 as a Senior Electrician. Designed and developed machinery area watertight doors alarm and indication system. Improve DP class II system’s UPS power by installation of additional UPS. Solved lay system and welding system power demands by implementing new distribution packages. Carried out daily routine inspections and identified planned service and repair, breakdown emergency repair besides preventive maintenance services for the vessels electrical & instrumentations system.
E & I Inspector @ SapuraAcergy Malaysia (Oct 2006 – Mar 2008)
One and half year of new build construction project experience with SapuraAcergy Pipelay & Heavy lift vessel Sapura 3000 at Sembawang Shipyard, Singapore. As an owner representative, conducted inspections, FAT, SAT, initiate punch lists, monitored project E & I activities and advised to Construction Superintendent. Maintain daily contact with vendors, shipyard personnel and contractors to accomplish class requirements as well as client specifications. Be assigned as an E & I commissioning engineer at vessel completion stage. Successfully manage to carry out witness, acceptance test, signed off ITRs, mechanical and electrical completion documents for various instruments, equipments and systems. Attend and provided technical support in DP Trials & DP FMEA.
Senior Engineer @ Systematic Control & Instrumentations Singapore

Career with fastest growing local E & I company. Lead a newly formed marine service team to facilitate service, repair, retrofit and new installations for a number of vessels across Singapore & Overseas. Establish good working relationships with existing and new customers / clients. Provide technical supports for various marine systems such as engine remote control, engine room alarm & monitoring, auxiliary engine control/safety devices and many other marine automation systems. Expand business development to Keppel Shipyard and Marathon Oil Alvheim FPSO conversion project. Represented for shipyard E & I Team and carried out pre-com and commissioning of Kongsberg ICMS (cargo/ water ballast valves remote control & indications), Autronica fire & gas system and Gosfern boiler control in shipyard as well as in voyage from Singapore to Norway as a riding crew.

Promoted and assigned to Landmark as a Project Manager in order to handle CPL’s Jascon5 DP III Pipelay & Heavy Lift Vessel construction project. A motivated team member of ISO committee and Landmark E & C was awarded ISO 9001/2000 in 2004. Managed and arranged daily workforce and activities. Maintain outstanding communications and relationships with customers / clients. Succeed in maximizing of equipment sales as well as service performance of the company and resulting in increase of revenues and customer satisfaction. Take over Operation Department after successful completion of the vessel Jascon5 construction project and supervised, led and coordinated the service team as an Operations Manager. Also enhanced comprehensive technical skills with MODEC FPSO Baobab Ivoirien MV 10 topside modules electrical and instrumentations pre-com / commissioning project at offshore West Africa.

Transfer assignment from Daisho Technical Services to Haven Automation Marine as a Senior Service Engineer within the Haven Group. Establish a very first career expansion in Singapore with Daisho Technical Services of Haven Group. By means of utilizing previous hands on experience, technical know-how and skills, provided comprehensive support to wide range of customers from marine, ship building, oil & gas related sectors. Following promotion as a Service Engineer, assigned to handle new build bulk carrier H207 & H210 construction projects at Sembawang Bethlehem Shipyard (1996 to 1997) and act as a Project Engineer. Managed and supervised E & I project team (approximately 75 to 100 work forces) comprising from engineers, electricians, fitters & welders to general workers. Arranged and balanced day to day activities for both projects which were running concurrently. Maintain daily good relationships with shipyard personnel and other contractors. Managed to attend project meetings, prepare project progress claims, solved problems concerning HSE and QA/QC etc... During career opportunities with Daisho, involved in SBM FPSO Tantawan Explorer boiler conversion project as an electrical supervisor and Woodside Petroleum FPSO Cossack Pioneer topside instruments installation and commissioning project.

Hired by Japanese ship management company Gewin as an Assistant Electrical Officer for ocean going vessel in the beginning. Upon completion of one year contract, promoted as an Electrical Officer and advised to Chief Engineer and Technical Superintendent in electrical related matters. Carried out daily preventive routine maintenance and breakdown emergency repair of electro-hydraulics systems such as deck cranes, cargo hatch covers, mooring and anchor winches, shaft generator & CPP, steering gear etc..., also marine electrical systems likes main switch boards, motor control centre, engine room alarm and monitoring, generator control and safety devices, auxiliary boiler and incinerator control as well as maintenance and repair facility for navigation / telecom equipments & instruments.
Apprentice Marine Electrical Engineer @ Burma Dockyard Corporation Myanmar (Mar 1988 – Jul 1988)
Assist shipyard Marine Electrical Engineers for installations, retrofitting, servicing, repair, troubleshooting, engineering and design of various vessel’s electrical systems as an enthusiastic Apprentice Engineer in Myanmar’s largest shipyard. This service is also mandatory requirements to enrol the assessment for sea going Electrical Officer Certificate of Competency.

Very first job after graduation, assist Engineers in testing, servicing, repair and maintenance of various electrical systems, instruments and equipments. Carried out routine inspections and identified to assure minimum break down time of operation and machineries at assigned worksites / workshops.
